Hand stripping seminar given by Kelly Wood and assisted by Elaine Zemaitis. Pending Paradym puppies, Elaine will provide instruction in hand stripping of the saddle, blending and contouring, with Kelly providing instruction on fine tuning and finishing details.

Airedale lovers and their ADTs and non ADTs are invited to AireFest 2006 in Mississauga, in support of Airedale Rescue. This year’s event will be held at Doggie Central (www.doggiecentral.ca), an indoor dog park. This year’s festivities will include Airegames, Airemeetup, a silent auction table with Aire items, a small sales table with more Aire items, an information table and barbecue ... adding up to a fun time to meet fellow Airedale lovers!

Montreal Fall Booster
United Kennel Club Show

The Montreal Fall Booster was judged by Donna Cole at the United Kennel Club show. There were three All Breed shows with the Airedale Club of Canada Booster, Terrier Specialty and All Terriers Booster, and five Obedience trials in one weekend. Cash prizes were awarded for Best of Breed, Best of Opposite, Best of Winners, Best Puppy and Highest Score in Booster.

Calgary Airefest

The Calgary Airefest was held at a private dog park. There was a silent auction with proceeds going to AireCanada Airedale rescue. There were also be raffles in support of Airedales in need due to Hurricane Katrina. Other activities included a clipping demo, Canine Good Citizen testers and agility, and good food and a great time was served up.

Fun, food and festivities for Fido, plus a doggie fashion show by Pooch Boutique. Author William Thomas presented and signed his popular book The Dog Rules Damn Near Everything. There were also great prizes, generously donated by our Paws in the Garden participants.

This Airedale party let us celebrate rescue and give our thanks with raffles, a silent auction, BBQ, and of course, Airegames! “Honorary Airedales” were also welcomed to join the fun at Jack Darling Park in Mississauga on Sunday, May 29th. And even if you couldn’t attend, you could still take part in the Online Raffle, featuring lots of wonderful Airedale gift packages for hiking with your Airedale, cooking with your Airedale and more!
